Do you need versatile teaching material that is also suitable for ‘Special Needs’ Education?
At Turtledoves we desire to see all people reach their God given potential and be able to share their gifts and talents with others. In fact, our main product, The Turtledoves Teaching Program was originally written specially for special needs children. But we soon discovered that its appeal and educational values suited other groups as well.
How about adults with limited understanding?
The Turtledoves Teaching program is suitable for early school age children as well as children and adults with disabilities including intellectual impairment, severe communication challenges due to autism, sensory issues, among many others. It is also a great program for teaching pre-schoolers.
Are you concerned that you may lack experience?
Along with the main Turtledoves Teaching Program, there are other lesson materials and teaching resources available on this site and most come with comprehensive teachers’ notes. Once you get the hang of it, you will find its simply ‘child’s play’ so to speak! But should you still need help, you are always welcome to contact us.
Why Turtledoves?
Our resources are the product of 30 years of Children ministry and have been used successfully in churches, schools, holiday programs and individual homes. You will find materials suitable for preschoolers and school children as well as those children and adults with disabilities such as severe intellectual impairment and autism.
Some Turtledoves products are also being used extensively in the Developing World Countries as they are also great for children with English as a second language and pre-literate students as well.
